“Co-Treatment, Bringing the Team Together to Provide a Holistic Approach for the Client with Alzheimer’s & You”
This educational session will provide those working with clients living with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD) with an understanding of opportunities for the clinical co-treatment of symptoms with complementary approaches based in recreation and music therapies. Participants will learn recreation and music therapy approaches to promote hope, ability, and expression, and decrease clinical symptoms of dementia within the framework of the leisure ability and music psychotherapy models.
